To start, the Raw Oyster with Uni and Ikura Salmon Roe set the tone right - briny, rich pops of flavor that made every bite feel celebratory. Then there was the Overflowing Ikura Rice, a playful yet indulgent bowl where the salmon eggs cascade like a miniature waterfall, and honestly, I could have eaten that every day. The Crab Croquettes were golden and crisp on the outside, exploding with sweet crab on the inside, perfectly complemented by a cold Kirin Beer as the afternoon sun dipped below Orchard Road.
Moving on, the menu balanced heartiness and subtlety in ways that kept me excited for each course. The Chicken Karaage was juicy and seasoned just right, while the Oden Soup warmed me from the inside out with its gentle, savory broth. I couldn’t get enough of the Unagi Mushroom, where the smoky unagi met tender earthy mushrooms in a match that worked in every spoonful. For dessert, the refreshing Yuzu Ice Cream and delicate Warabi Mochi were the perfect sweet finish, light and bright after a satisfyingly diverse meal.
